Car and Caravan Breakdown Cover

Last year I bought the Arrival breakdown policy provided by the RAC and it cost about £170. The renewal notice this year asks for a premium of £304.46p! To add insult to injury, I made no call outs on the policy
last year.

Any advice on best buys for combined car and caravan breakdown insurance gratefully received.

    Try Mayday, cover is essentially the same but far cheaper and you will get a free night on site for the new policy. Service is generally excellent and reading various posts you get the impression it is better but have no experience of RAC but two callouts
    on Mayday were handled well.

    Slightly confussing to say the least as another query from a CT member  in the overseas section says their quote with the C&CC for both UK and European breakdown is only £206.73 and was querying why RP and Mayday was over £300.

    We have Mayday cover for the M/H +my small car yet only paid around £65. RP quote was £235 for 66 days for european breakdown and medical cover.
