Truma Auto Motor Movers
I am new to this and will be picking up my new Bailey Pursuit caravan at the end of May, I have had it fitted with Truma Auto Motor Movers and my question is, although my drive is perfectly flat the road outside is on a slight incline. The access would
be with car facing up hill, caravan across drive entrance. If I unhitch caravan from my car, providing I have engaged the auto movers, will they hold the caravan in place when I release the caravans hand brake?

Thanks for your speedy reply. I can put that one to rest now lol Already asked the question paint on or off on the tow ball so I dont need
to ask that one. Thanks again0 -
Man after my own heart, belt and braces favourite saying of my wife. For some reason I hadnt even thought about that - I do have a pair
of decent chocks. Thats what I will do just to make sure. Thanks for your reply0 -
Just chock your offside wheel then, if it is does roll a bit, it will slew towards your drive ready for you to go forward with the mover.

It's nigh-on impossible to move the caravan with the mover engaged (I know, I tried to pull away with it on once
) so you should be fine.I often engage the mover before un-hitching, even when it looks fairly flat, to prevent the caravan rolling forward into the car.
