Aldi Heating issue

Have you checked what temperature is set on the control panel. If it is lower than the ambient temperature the heating will not come on. I suggest setting it at about 22*. Have you switched on the seperate mains supply? Is the rapid water heater switched
on? Hope I'm not teaching grannie how to suck eggs!0 -
Did they change the fluid, if so you may have an air lock in the system. Check to see if your tap water is getting hot, if it is the system is clearly functioning. After we had our fluid changed an air lock developed in the towel rail in the bathroom and the fluid would not circulate. I let the air out of the bleed valve on the towel rail and after a lot of gurgling it heated up OK. The fluid level in the reservoir did need topping up however, as it went well below minimum.

I'm pleased you got it sorted, it's too cold to do without heating at the moment. The trouble is you never know what they have been fiddling with when they have it for service. When ours came back last time, as it went dark I switched the lights on and nothing
happened. Check the fuses, all OK, just started saying well we will have to take it back tomorrow, when I remembered about the switch on the control panel that isolates all the lights. We never use it and can't see the point in it, so had totally forgotten
about it.0 -
