How to find threads/posts on specific issues

Could anyone advise me if there's a way of searching for posts discussing specific subjects rather than having to trawl through every thread until I find the one relevant to my query. For example I'm about to fit a Milenco security door lock and wonder if
anyone has fitted one or might have some tips on what to look out for.

thanks in anticipation.

The search function on these forums isn't great - unless I'm missing something.

Ignore the Club's own search  facility and just Google "Milenco door lock + Caravan Club". Comes up straightaway.

Fitted one last year. What do you need to know that's not covered on the Milenco website?

Only tip I have is to watch out fro snow freezing between lock and van!

Write your comments here...I also google which seems to work better, it also takes you to other caravanning related websites where the same subject is being discussed.

    Hi Navigateur,

I've got the Milenco instructions just wondered if anyone had any dos and don'ts based on their experience fitting it. It doesn't Matter now as I've just installed it with no probs, seems like a decent bit of kit. Mind you drilling holes in the wall of a
brand new van focuses the mind eh?
