Hi, just thought I'd post a solution I have, to my caravan steps sinking into the mud or awning carpet. I purchsed some furniture pads and fixed them to some small pieces of plywood approx,3" sq. Then place them under the step legs. I have a photo but I
am unable to load it.

I sometimes use the cups that are made to go under casters on furniture, to stop the legs from damaging your carpet.

I bought 4 awning pole rubber suction cups, the type ment for awning roof poles where they push against the wall of the caravan (wish I could post photos). They fit on the legs of the steps and spread the load to stop them sinking in to soft ground.

We use the stacker feet for the corner steadies, upside down as they have small segments in them which keep the steps steady
