Fridge Woes...
Some advice please about how fridges work...
My fridge works on 240V and gas (the auto spark ignites the gas from the 12v battery)
However, if I switch it to 12v operation, nothing happens, no lights, nothing...
Battery it good, all other 12v systems work from battery.
Any ideas...?

Your Frdge only works on 12v when it is connected to the towing vehicle and the engine is running (assuming it is wired correctly) otherwise it would flatten the battery in a short time.

I thought this may be the case, thanks...
Just discovered tonight that my 13pin socket doesn't have pin 9-13 wired up in my car, this would explain why it's not working (I hope)

I aways consider the 12v or battery icon on the fridge misleading ...... it would be better IMHO if it showed a picture of a car, as that's where the supply is coming from when on the move

Took my car back to the dealer yesterday to get the 13pin electrics 'properly' connected.
Was told by service desk that they don't usually connect those wires as they are only used by people wanting to pull caravans. Apparently the extra cost to route the wires and additional conenctors is the reason they don't do it.
Anyways, left it in to get fixed. To add insult to injury tho' they wanted £45 to admin fee to add me to their insurance for a 'courtesy car'... I refused to pay they said ok, no problem we'll do it for free. Car is only 5 months old and still under warranty.
