Cover problem?
we fitted our new protec cover in October, I have just taken it off and discovered that the vent above the toilet is now covered in a light mould and the mesh fly screen is the same. Have I done something wrong? And how do I clean the mesh?

Hi Ian we have a 5 year old van never had it coverd this wintter we decided to buy a cover spent lots of money on top notch cover for our peggy and I knew that you had to air the van every so often after 5 days I decided to open the van up for a bit how
silly I'm only 5 foot and never haveing a cover it didn't occur to me I wouldn't be able to reach duh. Had to wait another 2 days for hubby to have a day off so the van had been coverd a week we made sure the van was compleatly dry and a dry day to put the
cover on we unzipped it and when I slowly pulled the cover back what felt like a bucket full of water had dropped on me this was from the underside of the cover not the outside also lots of standing water on top of van funny as well no issues on any of annual
services kept her coverd this winter now damp in side locker and over 70% in bathroom I'm not saying the cover caused it could just be coincidence I suppose guy at dealers told me covers act like a coffee percolator draw all the moisture to the top then dump
it as water back on the van I to had mould on the vents and screens the outside was cleaned with fenwicks caravan cleaner I cleaned the screen with a realy weak solution of baby Milton after cleaning it off with warm soapy water it has done the job lovely
now to cover or not it's your choice I just know I now have a supper dupper cover that will never be used my dealers advice was if its under a tree or next to a wall cover up if not leave well alone0
