Unfortunately I have recently been the victim of a crime. The front Gas locker door to my 1995 Bailey ranger 500/5 has been stolen (probably to order!) I am now finding it difficult to source a replacement. Would anyone know where I may be able to find one.
My caravan is in great condition but the prefabricated cover I have made leaves little to be desired, is not water proof and is making me hate my caravan :-(. Hope you can help. I can be cobntacted via email -

    Sorry to hear that Grahame. You say you are finding it difficult to replace, can you give any indication of where you have tried to aid other suggestions, breakers etc.

    There is a company called caravanpanels.com that make all sorts of replacement panels.

    Depends on where you live.  There are several breakers across the country that you could try:

    In the
    Midlands see here

    A search for 'caravan salvage breakers' will give you about a dozen to try. Good luck.

    Try Copy Clough caravan dismantlers in Lancashire, I'm sure if they have one it could be delivered.

    I think all you can do is search for caravan breakers in your area first, and then extent your search.  However, if you're insured you could just throw it back to your insurers to source you a replacement.

    A towing cover is waterproof and would hide your distress.

    Graham, sorry to hear that youve fallen victim to lowlifes.

    If you find a panel in Yorks let me know as Id be happy to collect it and I am down to Cambridge over Easter if that helps.
