My wife has struggled with the matress in our 2008 Swift Coastline fixed bed. She gets a bad back, which means she doesnt really enjoy our weekends away.

I'd like to replce the matress and have been thinking of a memory foam matress from Duvalay. We've just been to a local dealer and had a wonder around the new Swift vans as we were told they had Duvalay matresses. I'm a big chap (ex front row rugby player)
and even i found  the matresses rock solid.

Do they give?

We are now unsure as to what to do.. I dont want to spend all that money to find the same issue!

Can anybody make any reccomendations?

We put a 50mm memory foam topper on our island bed and it was exceptionally comfortable until the bed latts started to bow in the middle. (8 years on and not as a result of the foam topper). I just need to put a strong but lightweight reinforcement under
the bed to take out the bow. Newer island bed models seem to have them built in already. Memory foam isn't the lightest of materials so it may impact on your mtplm and depending on where your bed is, it may impact on your noseweight.

I agree with Twitch, 50mm memory foam transforms the mattress. The only downside is that it is 2" further down to reach the floor !!!
