Damp percentage

hi I just recently purchased a caravan & found a spot with 37% damp on rear but it's perfectly normal above & below it can this just be from a caravan sitting out during winter

    I'm certainly no expert but if its not above or below it could be a bit of metal behind the wall causing a false reading as damp would spread.

    It might be a false reading but I would get it checked out as it might be the beginning of a future problem. If you have bought it from a dealer take it back before any guarantee you got runs out. Not sure when you bought it but legislation regarding goods
    conditions still apply to second hand purchases so even if any guarantee does not apply you still have rights.
