Help please, stinger alarm

Our stinger alarm isn't working and I saw a discussion on this a while ago, but can't find it now.  Can someone point me in the right direction, please

    Sargent have an excellent telephone help line and they will talk you through the problems until they are fixed. I used them several times before I binned the alarm

    Stinger help pages.

    Perhaps a reboot?

    Tried the Search but no sensible results?

    Hi DougS,

    Well done for posting that Stinger link. That section Hardware Reset Procedure is also called Re-learn which is what Sargent told me to use to cure our problems at the time.  It still didn't work for us but it may for Lynne.  Grantham Caravans where we bought
    the van from were no help whatsoever because they didn't understand the Stinger system either so we just disconnected the whole alarm system but our latest Sargent system is fine.

    Above most other suppliers, I believe Sargent have a very good customer support reputation so one way or another I hope Lynne gets sorted.

    Sorry, all just realised it's a Sargeant, not  a stinger, I think my middle name is "confusion".

    Just sent ours off for a repair as the alarm is not setting with a warning beep. The alarm works ok but never sure if it was on until it went off on entry, or not.

    Two months out of warranty charge for repair £89 plus refitting charge I expect.
