Xmas pressie for new bongo van - ideas please?

Hi my Mum & partner (both in 70's) have purchased a camper van (bongo) and are having it converted.  I would like to get them for Xmas something that is invaluable when touring but could do with ideas as I know space is limited in the vans.  I was debating
a solar panel for charging but again not sure size ampage etc.  Any ideas gratefully received

    If they are Club Members, then Site night vouchers would be nice. They can take their pick of sites and dates then, to try out their new purchase.

    other ideas are some nice bedding/duralays to keep just for van, or some posh lightweight crockery?  Or some silver screens to help keep them warm and condensation free?

    My sister and brother in law had a Bongo for several years, their essentials were a portaloo and an awning (to put the loo in and also clear extra camping gear  out of the van so they could get in it!) Space is very limited so anything that folds up well
    is essential.Smile

    A folding Solar Panel could be very handy if they plan to travel off grid.  100w ones are around £125 although there is one on ebay for over £1000 I suspect a misprint!  I does very much depend on what type of camping they are planning on doing.

    I think this subject would do better in General Chat - you have found your way into the Solo touring section.  Perhaps a Moderator will come and help move it.
