    IanH,  its  all  a  plot  by  those  horrid  carpet  manufacturers  to  get  you  to  buy  more  of  their  products  !!  The  faster  you  wear  'em  out  the  sooner  you  buy  replacements  Wink

    Mrs H  bought a Dyson cordless vac in the Black Friday sale......on Sunday Undecided

    Anyway, it was a very good reduction. Boy did it need to be!

    But the power! It all but pulls the pile out of the carpet! Didn't realise how much dirt was in there!

    Have you never wondered why an old carpet is so much heavier than it was when it was new? It's because of all the dirt it holds, no matter how much one hoovers it!!
