Welsh trailers
Spending a few days in Wales, I can't help but notice the sheer number of trailers, mostly Ifor Williams, without number plates!! Many of the remainder have non matching plates.
Different rules over here?

Ifor Williams of Corwen in North Wales, probably the largest manufacturer of light agricultural trailers in the UK. Usually towed by a variety of 4x4 vehicles. Generally containing sheep and having no number plates, lights and tailgate tied up with binder
twine. As common as red kites here in Wales.0 -
I think I'm right in saying that the same numberplate rules don't apply to agricultural vehicles and trailers. Perhaps someone like Goldie will know the full story.

Yep !! they are all breaking the rules / law. but hey ! Who cares there's no traffic police to enforce them , and of course rules were made to be broken

You lot stick to your rules and we will to ours. Towing vehicles also probably usng red diesel, but who cares and when did you last see a copper out there anywhere enforcing any law.
Brunstroms crew used to be around, following up on motorists.

And the whole lot of them go through the average speed cameras in the roadworks and on the A9 at something over 70mph because they know that no effort will be made to trace them.

Its not only the Welsh, but I notice, quite often, that foreign lorries don't have matching number plates, and they come through customs
They don't have to, cabs and trailer are registered separately in Europe.
So much for everyone being the same in the EC. One rule for one, etc, etc
