I won't click on the link either plus I'm hoping a Mod will remove the link if it points to something graphic, as it has no place on a Caravan forum even if it is under the 'General' topic.

Not for me either, I'm afraid. Ian, I can't imagine what you were thinking of starting this thread here.

What are you all saying.....that if you don't look at it, you can pretend that these practises aren't common-place and don't really happen?

This is how food is produced.....it is real life.

Sorry, Ian - this thread has no place on CT (IMHO). I have lived in the countryside virtually all my life and I'm well aware of how food is produced, I don't need it highlighting to me here.

Ian, is that footage suitable for a child to view? Children do look at CT you know. Have you thought this through or are you simply set on causing arguments?

Is it not reasonable for children to know where their food comes from?

Or are they to always believe that it just comes from a supermarket, in a packet?

Mods - move it to Food & Drink, if you wish.

Real life, I can post some videos of executions, beheadings etc, that is also real life. But they do not belong on a Caravan forum where all age groups have access.

Yes, but those activities are not done on behalf of 'ordinary' people, are they? And they certainly don't belong here.

But food production is carried out because so many people want it.

    Ian, your judgement is flawed.

Watch the video and then decide whether your judgement is flawed in encouraging it, by buying what they produce.

Ian, just a question - did you deliberately post this on a Saturday thinking that the forum was not so closely monitored at weekends or did it just occur to you to do it this afternoon? (Posting controversial threads at weekends is a tactic which has been
tried by certain others in  the past which is why I ask the question)

It isn't meant to be controvertial.

If you are happy for this sort of thing to be carried out in your name, then what are you concerned about?

What's all the excitement?, I see nothing but headlines. Someone(mod) with a sense of decency has taken steps if reading between the lines seems to have been posted.

Look, this is an activity that happens up and down the country. It is not some obscure thing that a few weirdos carry on with in darkened, hidden away rooms - it is done openly, for the majority of people in this country, who thereby condone it.

If you find the idea of animals being murdered for food repulsive, then maybe there is something that you should do about it?

Sorry, Ian, you are trying to justify yourself starting this thread. Presumably you're vegetarian/vegan, (no problem with that) but please stop trying to impose your views on others.

Seem to remember on the cubicles thread, Ian, you said "go with the majority and get rid of them" Maybe the same should be said of this entire thread.

Ian, we are all perfectly capable of making decisions for ourselves .... this topic has no place on a caravanning forum Frown
