We've done four deliveries and now it's gone quiet. So time to get to the town centre Tesco Express to do some shopping.

But not another of their dodgy tin openers, Malc!
Write your comments here...No more tin openers from Tesco, Chris!
Anyway, we decided to go to the Tesco Extra in Durrington and found half price lamb there. So we got a large leg of lamb for our Sunday Roast! Incidentally, beef is half price too!
We were on our way back to the caravan with the shopping when another order came through. So we quickly unloaded the groceries, filled the fridge freezer with them and then proceed to Broadwater KFC to collect the order, now 2 orders, both town centre deliveries.

Not as sunny here today but still reasonably warm for the time of the year. Another walk from the site, this time up on to Ingleborough. Flyte & I managed to get up to the top in an hour and half while OH got as far as final steep section. Spits and spots
of the rain while we were going up and down but not enough to get out waterproofs. Rain did produce quite a few rainbows though, which are nice to see. Raining again now but forecast is for a fine day tomorrow, here's hoping.0 -
We're back in the town centre at the moment to collect another kfc order.
Not so sure about the weather here, NTH. It's been dull and overcast all day today but at least it's remained dry!

so I have a sealed file to take tonight.
Goldie, please could you arrange for a supply of those "Sealed Files" to be delivered to Downing Street for the Dozy 'Apporths to use for those papers that they keep flashing for TV + Press camera men to peek at ??!!

How interesting, Malcolm.
Do you think the next order will be MacDonalds or Brio?
More pointedly, do you think anyone else cares?
Why don't you tell us what you did today, other than work?
Write your comments here...Ah but I did, Ian! I posted about our shopping trip to Tesco Extra in Durrington and the half price lamb and beef there!
One thing is certain, is that I'm going to have to do an awful lot of deliveries to cover the cost of the £1903 business car insurance bill that I've just paid. Also there's the £49 monthly payment for the road tax that's going to hit my bank account on Monday. So I'm going to need a lot of orders this weekend to cover the bills. Also I have to pay £91 per week in site fees. The bills keep coming and that doesn't give me much time for anything else other than work at the moment, unfortunately! Another £55 payment this coming week to pay the caravan insurance.

We're having croissants for breakfast this morning. They're just warming up in the electric oven as I type this.

Glad to hear it, Malcolm
I do like a warm croissant, with strawberry jam usually.
And yes, I forgot about your tale about the Tesco lamb
That's a heck of a lot of money for car insurance (£36.60 per week).....I suppose you did shop around? When I used to use my car for business (travel to meetings, sites etc) it only added a nominal sum (less than £100) to the bill.

I paid the annual renewal on my car insurance this afternoon. It cost me £1903. I had to stay on hold for twenty minutes on the phone before I could speak to someone. Once I got an answer, it was fairly straightforward on making
a card payment over the phone. Now all paid up until December 2017.Blimey Malc! Are you sure you've got that decimal point in the right place!
I don't feel so bad about my renewal, that's due this week, now.

Grey and a bit misty here too.
H&T enjoy your farmers market, a bit early for the last one before Christmas . Guess it'll be non fresh items
It is a bit early for Christmas, but there are a couple of stalls that sell excellent local meat, so I stock up the freezer. Bought some rather nice piri piri sausages too.

Arrived down in Goonhavern to a beautiful sunny morning (timed it just right for bacon & egg sarnies at the Garden Centre round the corner!). Quick unload from the car and straight up to the dunes - been suffering withdrawal symptoms for the past fortnight.
Now relaxing with a coffee before an afternoon shopping trip!Have a great time, I'am just slightly jealous !

A morning of being The Chief Financial Executive. i.e.quarterly VAT and monthly Payroll done.
Meanwhile the domestic staff (doubling up as The Chief Financial Executive) have put dinner in the Aga and polished three silver cups we are returning to the Annual Dinner and Awards Do for our Shorthorn region. How many will we be bringing home? As the
one who is let in on the secret Prize List in order to print the certificates, I have a good idea! The rest of the family prefer not to know and like a surprise, so I have a sealed file to take tonight.Seven cups to display (and clean)! A very good night.
