We'll be off to Littlehampton CC site tomorrow for two nights. We'll have to time our departure and arrival times carefully though because we have to be off this site by 12 noon but we are not allowed to arrive at Littlehampton before 12 noon. Yet it's a
very short journey that can be completed in very little time. There is a layby en route on the A27 between Worthing and before the turn off to Littlehampton. It has a snack bar as well. We might have to make use of it to fill time! Anyway, we've got the day
    off work tomorrow.

Previously, we used to work on our moving day but since I've started getting my state pension, we take the day off everytime we move. Otherwise, it's nigh on impossible to manage the timing correctly if we have to start work at 12!

Which sites will you be using over the winter Malc?  I hope you will not be needing to commute long distances this year.

Write your comments here...It will be mainly Charmill Cottage in Long Furlong, Findon. It's only 5 miles from Worthing town centre.

We have just returned from a nice relaxing weekend at Ayr Craigie Gardens CC site the site closes tomorrow for the winter so it wasn't very busy. As I have said on another thread I think it is a shame that Craigie closes over the winter months as there is
plenty of things to do in the area over the winter period. On our way home today we popped in to the market at Ayr Racecourse we haven't been for years but we were dissappointed as it seems to have got smaller and didn't seem very busy. Going to spend the
    afternoon watching the football now

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The roast beef came out very well as did the veg and Yorkshire Pudding.

Since we started work at 12:00, it's been absolutely manic. One order after another.

Is there anyone left in MIdsomer that hasn't been killed?

Just finished a 5 mile walk with a coffee stop at start, middle and end.  Joy!

We've been checking wine stocks (ready for an influx of visitors next month). So we're now a few pounds worse off, having taken advantage of 25% off on the Waitrose Cellar website.

40 mile ride on my motorbike through golden leafy Sussex lanes to meet up with wrinkly rocker pals of the 'Hell's Anginas' bike club (Dignitas chapter) at The Victory pub at Staplefield, and watch the veteran cars wheezing past en route to Brighton. At least the cold dulls the pain in arthritic 72 year old fingers.

If I did that in this cold weather I'd need a comfort stop at the start middle and end at least

Feeling very tired now. A Fiordilatte order has just come so back to the town centre again. It's dark and been raining so not very nice driving conditions.

I just realised that after today, I will have completed a whole year of delivery driving work.

Tomorrow was supposed to be a day off but the boss rang me to ask if I can come into work in the evening. Well at least I still get the afternoon off tomorrow to get the van pitched and settled in to the Littlehampton CC site.

We arrived at Broadway today after a pleasant drive down. Roads were quiet, some sunny spells, but only 6 degrees.

A bit of rain this afternoon when we were out for a walk, but not too bad. Pretty cold though......

This time we have a 20 minute wait outside Efes, the Turkish restaurant on Clifton Road, before we can deliver the next order. They need that long to cook it! So time to get some shopping done at the local Tesco. We ran out of Bertolli spread. It's supposed
to be the healthiest spread to use! It doesn't taste as good as real butter though!
