Just back home from river breamish! What's the first thing you do when you arrive on a caravan site?  Get the kettle on? Not us son went to fill the aquaroll tripped over the handle, fell backwards cut his head. Next thing we're off to the A&E to get his
    head glued!

Thanks to the two people who helped get him on his feet again!

Lovely sunny day here, but cool in the wind. Walked along the old Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Railway from Gatehouse Station to the Big Water of Fleet Viaduct and then up through the Meikle Cullendoch Forest to view Cairnsmore of Fleet. Back by way of the
Cairnsmore Nature Reserve information centre. Very pleasant day out, although we did not walk all that far.

Visited Marazion today, as I'd never seen St Michaels Mount, didn't visit the island as the tide was in and didn't really fancy a boat trip with the dog, Undecided he
doesn't like water! Laughing Enjoyed the view though.  Walked through the rspb site, very relaxing.  Had a picnic lunch by the beach, and
a wander in the town, weather was great until tonight, it's now raining. Sad

It's been a few years since we went to St Michael's Mount. We walked across on the raised walkway. Slightly mis-timed the return walk and we ended up rolling up our trousers and wading across the last bit.

    Good day out though.....

Preparing the house for the window installers tomorrow. Didn't help that my left heel has come down with gout again. This is getting annoying. I've now exceeded my usual annual amount. I presume I'll get a bill from someone.Yell

What's wrong with caravanning in the winter sun? Can well be the best and driest time of the year.

It gets dark about 4.00pm - 4.30pm. Cant' go out for an evening walk.  Dont see the point in being in the caravan from 4.00pm each evening.
