Having a catch up on here. Peace reigns for a little while . All been swimming again this morning, the sound if the water seems to soothe baby granddaughter . We went last Thursday too just grandparents and eldest granddaughter in the water, joined
by mummy today. Once again we had the whole toddler pool to ourselves, no lessons on Thursdays!! Total cost of two seniors and one adult 12 dollars, result! (About £8 depending on the xchanfe rate, been going up marginally since we arrived, 1.72 to 1.86 last
week).Just heard an Australian woman 63 and husband 78 have had their first baby born at 34 weeks . I'm three years younger and don't reckon that's, a good idea, and I'm not n 24 hours duty!!!!!

Sounds like you are having such a lovely time with your 2 grand-daughters B2. I hope the news is all good at the baby's check up next week. I agree with you about the 63 year old woman and 78 year old man having their first baby. I wouldn't be able to
cope. I was 51 when our eldest grand-daughter was born and looked after her a lot when our daughter went back to work and I took early retirement a few years later and had a wonderful time but I was always pleased to hand her back at the end of the day!!
I don't think it is fair on the baby - those parents are going to be a burden on her from a very young age.0 -
It's been a busy week for my husband, as our son and family are away on holiday. Part of which involves volunteering at Countryfile Live at Blenheim. On the Dairy stand wearing a T shirt emblazoned "Ask the farmer". He's also judging at Oswestry Show on
Saturday. So the alarm has been set even earlier so OH can get done.Today I have been an Accountant, Data Analyst, secretary and cook (Mushroom Soup and Crusty Seedy Granary Bread).

I can now understand why others don't bother with air-conditioners. It's a lot of hassle trying to get them fixed when they go wrong and I suppose that most people must feel that modern day caravans have enough gadgets that can go wrong and create additional expense without adding yet another!
Was it cleaned out at your service? If not, that will likely be the problem. This is in the troubleshooting guide as reasons for water dripping from the inside of the unit......
Condensation trap on external unit blocked
– Seal between device and roofnot intact– System at too much of an angle
If there is gunk in the outlets, that is not a warranty issue. There are also internal filters that need cleaned every year. Take a look in your instruction book for details.
Write your comments here... Our ladder is not high enough to enable me to get on the roof! Even if I could get up there, I wouldn't know what to do! When we had the caravan serviced, they said that they didn't do servicing of air-conditioners and that we would need to contact Truma.

Had a couple of busy days, hectic at work and home! So just catching up.
Bakers2, Enjoyed reading your NZ. Update, good to hear things are going well, and you are keeping busy.
Changed our plans for the weekend, now heading off in the van for a couple of days, weather looking good.

Oh for some sunshine, its another dull overcast day today. The nice weather person really cheered me up with the weather report at lunchtime, ground frost is expected tonight what
happened to summer, was it that 2 days we had last month, I'm not greedy but 2 days come on I need a bit more than thatWell the bedroom got a good clean this morning, bed and other furniture moved all now clear of dust, blinds and curtains cleaned as have the inside of the windows. OH fitted a new light fitting, I approve its rather nice and sparkly (the inner little girl)
Washing done about to go and peg it out, then I think we are going to look at new sheds OH fancies a new man cave, I fancy a new
bed.You have been busy, Tammygirl.
Hope you get the new bed or shed.

A shed is a VERY useful thingTG!
So are beds too, of course.
I would hold out for parity.....shed and bed.
..Well we both got what we wanted Shed ordered and will be delivered and fitted mid October. Bed seen and will be ordered tomorrow, OH
had to go to Physio so didn't have time to do it today. KJ the shed he has is falling down we have had 25 years use out of it so can'tcomplaining, the new one is much more sturdy and he is going to fit it out better for working in0 -
Malcolm, are caravan air conditioning units not as robust as domestic ones, i.e. - not intended to be used all day and every day?
P.S you can probably tell I know nothing about air con.,
P.S. 2. It will soon be winter anyway and you'll just need the heating!

.It's sunny here at the moment, Tammygirl but with a cool breeze. It seems like you could do with a short spell here on the south coast!
Oh I'd love to be down in the sun Malcolm but we have jobs to do before setting off in the van again at the end of August, just wish you lot down South wouldn't hog all the sun and share it a bit more0 -
Felt a little autumnal this morning.......brightened up in the afternoon though.....another bright, warm day.
Didn't have time to go out at lunchtime though.
Second day at CAB this week......saw three clients. One gave a £10 donation. Why are the ones with the least money always the most generous?

Write your comments here...Isn't that why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, Ian? The rich stay rich by hoarding their money and not spending it. The poor get poor by spending or giving it away!

Spent this morning driving down the M6 in the pouring rain on the way back home from Moffat. The road was very busy and I occasionally wished I had a Caravan behind the car to make me drive slower! Now exhausted so M&S provided the evening meals.

It's best to leave them off for a few months over the summer, Malcolm. Prevents them from over working.

Write your comments here...You're joking, Ian. It's no use when it's switched off. Although perhaps you could restrict usage to the times when it's really hot. It's not too bad at the moment.

Hope all went well for you up at Moffat. Seems as if the M6 had been plauged with rain today. Our daughter has just got caught this evening in pouring rain on the way back form Southampton to Blackburn.

Fine for most of the day, although we did get caught in a couple of showers today. Drove over to Forest of Dean and had an hour walk before I went off on my bike and rode the Red Trail (well rode most of it) from the cycle centre. Think I'm getting a bit
old for all this hard work, although I would guess that not many 70+yr olds do the route without touching down. Suspect I need a new lighter bike. Rode back to the car for a bite to eat and then we went out for another hour or so walk around part of the Sculpture

H&T and MH, have a nice time away in the lovely weather
Malcolm, when you are using it do you leave it on all day, even when you are out and overnight?
Write your comments here...We usually switch it off when we go out but leave it on overnight.
