I'm having the same problem with photos on other postings using my laptop, so I don't know what's going on. I can't even sign in on my i-pad!!Sad At
the moment I'm using the free club's wifi at Stamford, wonder if that's part of the problem. Can't check using my MiFi as we've no reception here on site.

You can even tell what they eat. Somewhere I have a photo (can't find just now) showing part of a crayfish among it.

Almost. It's a Fiddle Drill. It's hand held, with seed in the bag, and it's played like a fiddle (moving the "bow" back and forth). Ours is probablly over 100 years old, and we still use it on the odd bare patch. Never throw anything away!

Funny thing about farmers, as Goldie says, they never throw anything away - just dump it in a corner somehwere thinking it might come in useful sometime. have walked through a few farm yards in east kent  recently and it is amazing the amount of junk that
is piled high. Fridges, freezers, roof tiles, timber, hardcore, bricks, ridge tiles, baling twine, fencing wire, rotting lorry bodies, ancient tractor parts, hearvester bits & pieces etc.
