Shocking photos of the disasterous huge bush fires in that wonderful Country of Canada.

The Canadians are our own people, (many of my friends emigrated there) this makes the horror more personal.

My sympathy to all in Canada.

Indeed - bush fires are horrendous anywhere, be it South of France, Australia, Italy or any where else. Having been 'on the run from one' and subsequently seen the devastation I can truly empathise and wish the best for anyone affected.

Yes K, the images we are seeing are truly shocking.  Our thoughts are with all those affected.  Until recently, our nephew and his young family lived in Fort McMurray.  They now live in Edmonton thank goodness, but they still had friends there.

Saw the pictures on the news, dreadful for all those involved.

Have family in Canada, luckily not in the affected area.

Such horrendous forest fires, dreadful that they are are a natural occurrence it seems (unless deliberately started by humans). According to the scientists the conditions which spawn them is down to weather patterns in the Pacific Ocean.
