What date is Spring Day ?

I was born on the 21st of March , which for nearly all my life has been Spring Day. In the last few years the 20th of March has now been designated as Spring Day. So which date is correct anyone know ?

    yes the spring equinox (when the Earth's axis is neither tilted away from nor towards the Sun) varies from year to year, This year it was today at 4:30 am UTC (GMT).
