Can't believe the weather today here in Manchester.  6 inches of snow and both passes across the Pennines closed.  We picked up our caravan 2 weeks ago from Sherwood Oaks in Mansfield, and are going on our first little trip in it to Clover Fields in Buxton,
two weeks today, both places very hard to get to at presentHappy

What a contrast, beautiful sunny, but cold, day here in MK.

We've had snow flurries this afternoon, I expect there'll be some snow on the Mendips and Exmoor.

We had, and still have, plenty of snow here in Newchurch in Pendle. We've booked for Fakenham racecourse this Sunday, 'van's 1st outing of the year, just hope it melts!

Yes, quite a lot of snow here this morning too, but by lunchtime it had disappeared.  But the hills which we can see out of the back (Winter Hill, Rivington) are all still covered in snow, it's nice to look at, but it must be freezing cold up there!

Snow here the other side of Chesterfield from Poolsbrook, and has settled. Had started to thaw but not yet disappeared. so guess there'll still be some on the ground in the morning. Looking across to the east this afternoon there appeared to be no snow sticking but plenty over to the west.

We've had about three inches in my part of Cheshire, the snow started in the early hours a didn't stop till about 4 this afternoon. I think the main road was clear.

What, at this time of night!!Wink

It's pitch dark here with stars and planets showing in a clear sky, after a cold day with the occasional sleet shower.
