Very pleasant day here today, dried washing outside in the breeze including towels
Laughing  Getting VERY blustery now, but dry still.  Nice to see the daylight lasting a little longer each day.

A very nice almost spring like day here in Cambridgeshire but we are braced for wet and windy weather from lunchtime tomorrow.

Very breezy today - I managed to dry two loads of washing outside and almost lost most of it!  Then got out the ride on and put the roller on the back and cut the grass!  Hopefully will get rid of some of the mole tunnels!  Hatches battoned down now though!

Mild again this morning and dry at present, they reckon lunchtime for the rain for us.  I'm loving the very slightly later light evening but finding the mornings really dark when the alarm goes off at 6.45am not any better than a month or more ago - or
is it just me?  Unable to see the 5 planets again due to cloud

Saw the sun here on the East Coast so bright and not too cold.  Meant to get up to 12C today and the possibility of rain later

Goldie, do you physically fill all the info in yourself(light blue areas) or is it taken from a weather station on site? I ask because I know the BBC have countrywide weather watchers feeding live info to themHappy

Extremely wet and windt in Scotland, two lorries blown over on the A1 near Dunbar! A small people carrier crossed over the forth road bridge scared the living daylights out of the driver! And that wasn't a high sided vehicle!

Wild, wet and dark. ( Blowing a gale,Torrential rain and Gloom.)

No problems though. Wear the right clothes and go for walks with the dog. Can be quite fun being nice cozy and dry with the rain pitter pattering on the waterproofs.

    Smile

Only downside is many of the recycle (Blue) wheelie bins awaiting emptying have been blown over and contents spilled on to the streets.

We have a Davis weather station on the hill opposite the house. It transmits via RF to the house, then by USB to a computer where it's analysed by a specialiat programme (Weather Display), then it's sent by ftp (every 15 minutes) to our website and various other sites, including the Met Office's WOW. I think WOW is much better than the BBC's Weather Watchers - which depend on people inputting the data.

Have a look at WOW here

As famers we're obsessed by the weather, even when it's not what we want!

Just imagine the chaos after they’ve been emptied and homeowners not around until evening. I don’t think anyone knows who’s responsible for damage or loss while the bin is not on your property.

While the wind is so high, you think it impossible for any rain to fall at all.

ThankyouHappy, that WOW is wow too. Very in depth & useful. Because I spend so much time outdoors I'm a bit 'weather obsessive' forewarned
is forearmed I think covers it. Differing weather conditions dictate to me what I can & can't do, if I can do a job or have to stay at home.

Very Soggy again.  At this rate the CC must be glad that its has converted to almost 100% AWP's.  I much prefer grass but its going to be months before this lot dries out!

Rather breezy but not too bad - rain on the wind only here in sheltered Essex at present.  Thanks to those of you accepting it and allowing it to get it out of it's system before getting this far

Fabulous day here on Fuerteventura. Light breeze and temperature of 26 in the shade. Bliss.
