Always haggle

Last year I insured both our cars on a multi car insurance for £337.

Renewal just came through, £510 !

Straight on the phone, "Yes sir, we don't want to lose you, (a few moments of muttering) how does £429.02 sound"

Not very good says I.

"Well I can reduce this, give you for this free, so I can do it for £369, How does that sound ?"

Sounds good to me.

So for 5 minutes on the phone, saved about £173 for same cover.
