I have heard it all now - on todays news there is a report of South Eastern Trains saying that delays were caused by the wrong type of sunshine! Apparently drivers cannot see the whole length of their train, in their mirrors, when the sun is behind them.

Why don't they get out of the cab and look?

Yes well I supposethat it is a relatively new phenominum!  Sunlight,  I guess that that must be a new experience for some people, - not been around long has it?

    We had some sunshine yesterday.

    First time for ages.

    Gone again now.

Better make sure the car park light is turned off, in case it blinds them.   Maybe we will see official BR issue sunglasses?

According to this mornings paper they were getting out to check, that is what was causing the delay. Hardly a cause for complaint I would have thought. Now dragging someone along the platform, because you had not checked, that would be a different matter.
