Nothing wrong with that. Man flu is the more severe type that women never get.

I have the bits and pieces that determines me as a man, so if I catch the flu it surely must be called 'man flu' Undecided

Sorry to hear that Best Boy.

If you have got to go, then 107 is not a bad score to go out on.

As regards 'man flu' it is constantly diagnosed by Dr MOH for me, although regrettably she has not got a medical degree.

Then, when she then gets the sniffles, they are ten times worse than those I experienced.

I guess most blokes are also in a similar situation.

I believe totally in equality between the genders but this is a joke.....   I get so angry at the general ignorance that prompts people  to complain about the words 'Chairman', or 'spokesman' (for example).   In these examples the 'man' element has nothing to do with gender but the root of the word is 'manual' relating to work.

People making a fuss about such things simply show their ignorance.
'Man flu' has long been a joke ie:  its just the flu but called 'man flu' because of the belief by some women that their men whinge more about it......

So 'Chair manual' merely means the chair works or 'Spokes manual' tells you how to build a wheel for your bicycle?

I'm told repeatedly that femflu is every bit as bad as manflu but those that suffer from it just keep quiet and carry on. Not in my experience!Wink

Write your comments here...I hear there is a particularly virulent strain called Alban Man Flu. Apparently it's to do with not having under garments!  Is that PC?Wink

Can't comment on that one as I very seldom, if ever, wear a kilt....and even when I do I've never, ever, gone "commando".
