Jet Stream shower heads

Hi good peoples, has anyone replaced their 'normal' caravan shower head with a Jet Stream one? Any comments on its performance?  We're looking into ways of making our hot water last long enough for a decent shower.  Thanks in advance :-)

    ditto....

the trick to decent van showering (and we get one decent one each in the morning) is to heat the water to 60deg, and then, by mixing it with cold to bring the temp down a bit, the mixed water goes much further than if 40 deg had been used.

i go first, runthe hot tap on the sink until i feel it get warm, turn this off and get into the shower....water on, get wet, water off, shower gel on, wash all over, water on, rinse....

me out, OH in, repeat as necessaryWink

being 2nd, she can 'luxuriate' until the hot runs out, if desired..

Given the sense of humour round here I can see this is going to run and run, even if the water doesn't

We have "luxuriate" and "shower" in the same sentence - that surely qualifies for therapy!

If that is the one with the little beads in the shower head sold at the shows then yes I have changed to it and it seems to work fine.

goodness me, you guys....luckily i didnt mention the other water saving measures....both 'luxuriating' at the same timeWink

the point of the post was that its perfectly possible (perhaps with the aid of these water saving showerheads) to have two decent showers from one tank of hot water...

im home now, so will be luxuriating with Mrs BB (with loadsa water) in the morningWink

    enjoy your therapyLaughing

There we have it. BB has adopted the 'shower with a friend' water saving policy. Like I said, no wonder he's all of a lather. Wink

They are a total waste of money!  We have one fitted as standard in the caravan and it is a total pain in the rear.

It takes twice as much water to wet yourself down and even more to wash off the soap afterwards. There is no way that this is a water saving device and is just a big con job!

We are dumping ours and replacing it with a proper shower head so we can have a decent shower where you can feel the water on your face and body.

We have an Econamel fitted as standard in the motorhome and it works fine for us. I thought I would try one at home and without a pumped supply there is not a lot of difference between the
    Econamel and a normal showerhead.

Switched our caravan one to the Ecocamel and works fine for us even with a small water heater.
