Selling a caravan

We have reluctantly decided to sell our caravan, as touring, which we have enjoyed for many years, is no longer practicable for health reasons. Our caravan is currently for sale via a broker and hopefully will find a buyer soon. Does anyone have experience
of selling a van to one of those companies who advertise in the club magazine as we may need to look elsewhere if the van doesn't sell within a reasonable time?

The only posts I have seen have said the offers were very poor.

Bluebell if you can stick with your broker.  I decided not to part ex our van last year so got a local non franchised dealer to sell.  We agree a minimum price I would except and for a fixed fee £500.00 he prepared ithe van, advertised it and displayed it
On his forecourt.  It sold in a month and I got a heck of a lot more than I would have on part ex.  Afraid Wildwood is exactly right they will make a derisory offer and when they come an see it they will try to reduce the price further.
