We have ordered an Autosleepers motorhome and it comes with built-in LPG tanks so we will need to find stockists, however, without really looking I have noticed that our local Asda fuel station has LPG and also a Shell garage. Does anybody know whether there
are particular chains of garages that keep LPG pumps? Also, ditto for France?0 -
Thanks rogher, very useful......

Good on ya rougher! Very useful. Thanks. FillLPG have, after a campaign by CC members and others, marked Safefill friendly sites. We now have a national app which is very useful indeed!
I have just downloaded the FillLPG app and cannot see any reference to Safefill. I currently don't have a Safefill cylynder but am considering it. Availability of a filling point locally is possibly the deciding factor but the nearest I have found so far
is 8 miles away. There is a local petrol station that sells lpg but I have not as yet been in to check whether they would permit filling of a Safefill cylinder.0 -

going in other directions, i check out the app as above, but not usually a problem...
in France, most large supermarket chains, Carrefour/Leclerc/Intermarche etc, have LPG pumps as part of their fuel set up....

Thanks BB. Looks like no problem in France.

Hitch, i also mentioned Countrywide Farmers...they dont cover every area of the country (despite their name...) but could provide a handy second tier of service to normal LPG stations....
no cost to set up an account, market driven prices, some out of the way pumps but a useful 'back up'...
