There's no avatar. How do you know it isn't just William?

A more detailed introduction would be useful on the introductions thread. I'm not sure how Richmal's post relates to CC credit cards!

The poster appears to be a member but there's nothing on the profile, so no information at all other than it's the first post by this particular poster but there have been some previous likes, one of which appears to have been Deleted User. Very mysterious!

ABM hit on a very likely reason for this.
In the 'Compose a reply' box it says "You're logged in as xyz. Not you?". It looks as if some posters are answering that question.
I think the wording could be improved.

Certainly a possibility, however given the number of similar posts, it seems a bit strange that they then do not add anything else on the topic in question.

I asked for it to be removed in the past. The likelyhood of of several people being logged in on the same computer is pretty unlikely so the need to ask the question dosen;t really arise?

I agree, David, and I'm pretty sure it's causing confusion but what do we know?

Maybe the club should team up with amex as they are less effected by the cut in intercharge rates. They could also start accepting it for site fees. Hardly use my backup Mastercard now as most payments to through my amex. Better rewards and better service
than most banks.0 -
Nor do we wildwood. Would not stay with the same card company used by CC as the card we received would look identical to one of my personal ones. The CC was on a joint account for us that we both pay £700 a month into. Also the card would give points which
is a pita. I liked the no fuss site nights. We have an asda a mile away but buy little there in reality. We do buy petrol there. Asda card is 0.5% cash back and 14% in their store and petrol I think. No messing about. Did have their card when they gave a couple
of % back on petrol or maybe it was 2p per litre?0 -
I do know the problem of similar cards. At one time we had one green, one blue and the CC with a picture on it. For some reason they all changed to black and several times I got them confused locking myself out with the wrong pin a couple of times.

I've recently got a Barclaycard but not a Caravan Club one.

Of course not. They're defunct.

Apart from the number that is, of course. So what I do with the multiple cards I have from a particular agent is to take my indelible marker and write the initials of the account on the face of the card.

I have also used a permanent marker for the time being. New Ada cards (light green to replace). I have eyesight problems and if I have my distance (driving) glasses on colour differentiation is easier. OH and I have one joint credit card for purchases funded
by a joint account we both pay a monthly transfer into. I have 4 other credit cards and OH has a couple of personal ones. We also have a joint debit card from our shared account.0 -
I used to just have one credit card with HSBC until I recently got a new one through Barclaycard. So now with two cards, I'm spoilt for choice!

We have the replacement Barclaycard, as the points don't work out bad value and we should be to exchange them for M&S vouchers, which we save up for Christmas. However, at a glance it looks very similar to my Coop points card. I have tried to pay with that
a few times, since the change. Does not work unfortunately.0
