As  iI understand it the service is like most of these telephone advice services bought in by the provider i.e. the club from a commercial firm. In general these people should be qualified lawyers but without knowing who the firm is here I cannot say to
what level. I have met some providers and they were qualified as solicitors but they are well down the legal pay scales.

The advice should be sound though on the more common problems as they deal with these all the time and doing the clubs work consumer law is going to be their expertise.

The only problem with making formal complaints is that the complainant has to be squeaky clean & innocent of the very thing they are complaining about. I'm afraid there are very few innocents on Forums. It usually becomes tit-for-tat digs, 'joint guilt'Sad

Don't you need to be a real person rather than an anonymous username on a forum to have a case?

It was a general question, BB, not about you. However, I'm pleased the status quo had been restored.

I think the advisers will not be p to speed on defamation as that is a very specialist subject and very few lawyers get involved. Those who do libel others on a website can be sued and the legal costs can be very high so make sure what you say is accurate.

Even this thread has strayed into the ridiculous, the schoolboy posts referred to have been closed, this one should follow it.

Instead of closing the thread why not put it back on track.

I know that CC Ltd routes legal queries from members to an external legal service.  I would like to know what sort of questions they will attempt to answer.  Is it simply legal issues involving our hobby or much broader issues.  Any views?

Any matter relating to motoring or caravanning. Reading previous pages may help you, page 2 has a link provided by 'Brue'.

    Cheers ..........K

Bringing the thread back on subject.

The CC legal team is a great benefit to which all members through their membership fee are able to access.  Hopefully there are few of us in need of their help, but for those who do, the CC legal team are much appreciated.

    Cheers ............K
