Poor Service CC on Camping Key card

Ordered one of these online. No problems. Website states will be sent out following day but allow 7 days for delivery. OK. Except no card arrives so I ring club and am told that on the day I ordered it they had a problem with some of the orders and it looks
like mine was one of those.

The club sends our emails to wish you a happy stay at your site. The club sends out emails berating you for not cancelling within 72 hours. But they can't send an email out advising you they had a problem with their orders for this item or can't find out
which orders they had problems with. They merely leave the member to wonder where their order is, then when you ring up they put the order through again but can't rush it even though it may now arrive after we've left and will therefore be redundant!

Poor service.Sad

    Oh dear hope my bad luck isn't catching.  The CC are doing well arn't they.

    We've just found out that we don't have a 2016 CC book but we do have a 2016 mapSurprised the numbers off course don't relate to the 2015 bookFrown oh well no time to order one now, will just have to use what we have and tinternetEmbarassed We don't have a camping Key this year as no RP but we do have the CCI through Acsi.

    If they had a problem is it possible they didn't know you had ordered one and therefore couldn't let you know?

    I had a problem last year when I ordered the savings book.  Phoned them up about it and they sent it out again, problem solved.  I do a lot of online shopping and every now and then a problem arises, easily sorted with a phone call or email.  I would hardly
    call it poor service, it's just one of those things.  As David has said, if they didn't know there was a problem with your order, they could hardly do anything about it.

    Sounds like a computer glitch and these things happen. You just have to live with them in the computer age and far worse problems have happened to others. We did order ours some time back and it arrived almost immediately.

    Write your comments here...David, they knew that a problem had occurred as they admitted it to me when I brought up my problem with them. Each order is given an order number so how difficult would it be to go through that days batch and send an email to
    those who had ordered online? Not very difficult. Instead they did absolutely nothing! Zilch! They could quite easily just have re-run the batch the following day. Couldn't have been that many. Really poor service.

    Arranged my Red Pennant on Tuesday on the phone and paperwork came yesterday and my Key Card came today, thats pretty good service. Mind you I still have last years Key Card and the ACSI ID valid until July so wasn't so crucial for me.

    Just posted a comment on this subject in a thread running in the Overseas section, missed this specific post before. I ordered RP at the end of March, phoned CC this week about non delivery, to be told that there have been problems since Easter. A new one
    has been ordered and marked urgent, but I don't feel confident.

    It actually gets worse, David. The card arrived today. Looked at it when we arrived home at lunchtime. The card had an expiry date of March 2016, yep the expiry date had already been and gone. Rang the club. Could they get one sent to the CL we're driving
    to on Sunday before we catch our ferry. No, they couldn't. The card had to be sent to the address on the card! 

    So much for going the extra yard for the customer. Not a happy bunny. 

    The club employee I spoke to said that the club used to have the cards printed in house but now have it done by a third party printers and also that they have had quite a lot of complaints similar to my own.

    You had me worried there so I have just checked, mine is OK. Sorry that you seem to be going from bad to worse. I did notice that is was only sent second class.
