CLOSED - New CC smartphone App.

Hi, has anyone downloaded and tried to use the new CC sites app? I've downloaded it onto an iPad and although it does find sites for you relevant to the specific area selected when you go into the detail of the sites there appears to be several bugs in the
software. If you go onto the "Map and detailed directions" button a page appears with the directions as stated in the CC Handbook but then go to "View on map" and it takes you to Google Maps page and gets itself completely befuddled with the address that the
app gives it and it comes up with a menu box " Do you mean XYZ in Rockville CA or Rockville NJ or Rockville Victoria......." you get my drift. The place you're looking for cannot be recognised by the map that the app selects.

i also tried to access a sites website from the app but was given the message "server could not be found".

i think the app has great potential but it needs the bugs ironing out ASAP before members just get fed up with it.

    Thanks for your comments.  We already have a thread open in the UK Sites section about the app so it would be really useful if all comments could be put there to make it easier to identify the problems folk may be having and any suggestions for development.  Please see HERE.
