Much of it is on tarmac and part of this is not available on race days, as they set up a big screen there. The rest are on grass and hardstanding, around a fairly small loop. The pitches on the loop are quite tight, our 7.3 m van was right back against the fence and only just fitted. However, a nice little site, would go again. Great on race day for watching the racing, as right by the finish. Also good for walking to the castle and into Warwick town. The one small complaint I did have was, it was a long way to the CDP as there only seemed to be the one. Fortunately ours has wheels. Access is across the racetrack, on flexitrack, and there are restrictions on race days.

You won't be dissapointed, we've been a few times, never when a race is on (shame) its a lovely area an easy walk into town, there is some lovely parks in Lemington too not far away.

A lot of Racecourse sites can appear a bit odd compared with a carefully laid out normal Club Site. The advantage of them is that they are usually within walking distance of a town and shopping which is useful to us as motorhomers. There are some pictures
    in this
    campsite review
on my website that should give you an idea of what it looks like.

It's a great site for exercising dogs.

Be aware that the facility block is getting on a bit and is quite small. It's perfectly usable though.

We only stayed on it once when travelling further south. Follow the instructions given by the club, not your sat nav, or you'll end up going through Sainsburys car park, OK if your a MH but a bit tight if your towing Embarassed.

We pitched right next to the race cource fence, nose in so had a great view of the grandstand. A very easy walk into the town.

From what I remember it is probably half tamac half grass. Follow the club's instructions in the book & you get there no problem. Town is an easy walk though uphill. The site info also had a small printed sheet walk to a cafe on the canal which we did &
enjoyed much needed refreshment. Would certainly go back if in the area.

If you have a Merlin Pass, the castle is available for use too. Well worth a visit, particularly in the summer with lots of demomstrations and activities going on.
