    Hello there

We have received updates literally today so I can now advise you that Troutbeck Head is now expected to be open from 17th March – 31st October next year.

On the system today, the dates you can book are 31st August – 3rd January 2018 which cannot be changed until tomorrow. Please do not book from 1st November onwards.

Booking dates will be corrected tomorrow. Bookings for 17th March – 31st August will be released tomorrow at 10am.

Hope this helps & apologies for any confusion.

    Helen

I tried to book Troutbeck today via phone to HQ only to be told it was closed until the end of August, this was to be part of a tour heading for Edinburgh so I changed the intended route to stop at Berwick  I hope I can now cancell Berwick and re book Troutbeck. I was mistified when I as told that Troutbeck was closed until September 2017. Helen mentioned updates today so was this site scheduled to be closed and if so why?

So was it scheduled to be closed and if so why ? Or was this just an error in the system?

Nothing wrong with Troutbeck but there are alternatives offered by the club in the area if you want to be in the lakes. Cancelling berwick should not be a problem but check Troutbeck first to make sure you can get in.

I have no idea now if Knaresborough is open or closed - totally confused!!! From the Search and Book

    Important Information

This site will be closed from January 2017 for exciting redevelopment, and will reopen in mid August.

However I read elsewhere the work was not yet going ahead.

I've often wondered who it is who gets really excited over these announcements. Seems to be an indispensable part of a marketeers lexicon.

I'm tempted to say yes, just for living there but, as an ex Billericay man, I'll refrain. Sealed
