I tried from 8 am and at 8.15 had booked Rowntree Park for the first May bank holiday and New Years eve next year.  I have received confirmation for NYE but am awaiting confirmation for May.  How can that happen?

I've got no inclination to go into the fight. I knew what I would be reading before I logged on.

What would be interesting is to actually know what sites have been booked and when.

I won't click "Follow this post" my phone will go into melt down

We booked Baltic Wharf for the 7-14 August for the Balloon Festival and to meet up with family as we've not managed to get to the BF over the years, but by putting a stake in the ground we can make it a family event Happy

Write your comments here...see you their we managed to get to BW for the Ballon festival phew.

Lets hope the balloons go up this year. The last time we went it was a washout with no fliying.

Booked 4 sites by 8.45 having started at 8.00. Have just looked at the sites I've booked and still not full so could have waited until it was quiet. Checked several sites that we might want to go to and loads of room all season. What a lot of hot air today
    - unless you're desperate for Rowntree Park there's plenty of spaces across the network. System works well and fair to one and all.Happy

Well done to everyone who persevered and got any, some or all the sites they wanted for next year. We'll probably have a look after New Year and book what we want then. There's likely to still be plenty of room at the sites we like and we're flexible with
    dates.

Good to see the continued popularity of CC sites though!  Happy

When you consider as I was advised, that 39000 bookings had been made by arround 1000hrs thats a lot that got through thats 325 a minuteSurprised

but what is meant by bookings? pitch nights or members individual bookings.

...How do you know there loads of room because they do not show full,  it might mean there is only one pitch, the only "Guide" to availability is on Late availabilty and that is for only 3 weeks in advanceUndecided

Haven't bothered to try.  No idea yet where we'll want to go next year at Easter or end of May bank holiday (which are the only peak times we go away in the caravan).

Ive encountered yet another fault/problem with the Esy booking app.

After filling in site date etc and then on next page filled in my details and clicked the next button, I kept having a message @Scroll (list of numbers) is not recognised (or something like that) and then after clicking to try again and again It took me
back to the Easy Book page to start again.

This is just another fault in the booking system I have encounted today.

Come on CC tech people get your act together, after all the new booking day happens every year at the clubs behest.

Maybe theose incharge of the web site have already left to go on day release for computer skills?

My first attempt to book a caravan club site on day 1 as a new user, wanted southport for the golf in july, not able to book at first but able after a couple of hours but managed after a couple of hours, so no complaint, just frustrating.

Gets even better, now the Clubs Easy book is locking me in a loop asking me to sign in continuously even tho I am logged on and as I am now able to go round the rest of the site!

.As long as you don't expect to get a fortnight with a week-end in the middle as most weekends will be booked solid.

I have finally managed to book by using the 'old system' without the Easy Book which has proved to be flakier then Cadbury's famous choco bar.

Today after being totally frustrated with the site I have booked 2 seperate week breaks with the C&CC and 2 other week/2 week breaks with commercial sites which was far easier then 'Easy Book' (trade description?)

What kind of hardware are you using? Could it be an issue with an unusual desktop/tablet? There doesn't seem to be any website reason you can't access

I booked all my sites today within 1.5 hours which I thought was excellent . I think the club does a fantastic job over  50,000 bookings taken on one day, for sure there are bound to be a few problems when thousands of members try to book all at once but by and large I think it went well you just have to keep trying till you get on , the only problem I had a few times was the error msg concerning script problems but my son told this has happened to him on other sites when they have been very busy.people are very quick to critize when things dont go all their own way I think you need to be prepared for not getting your first choice and have an alternative at hand Id picked 3 choices for each bank hol 2 choices for my main hol and other dates just in case If people arent happy with the system or price or the club they have the choice to go elsewhere me Im very proud to be a member of the CC .
