In my view there should be a more simple way to take the volume of people wanting to book their holidays. Then i think of Clumber Park, that site has NO internet at all.... feel sorry for the people staying there today.

Managed to book 4 sites from 8.10am after constant pressing (worse than last year) , however irritated that I lost time when trying to book a site that should have been available from today but apparently isn't now available until March 2017! Poor CC communication
as magazine said available from 7th Dec

Could it be the failure to book is because you are on here posting, instead of clicking continuously on that reddish button and raising your blood pressure, deep breaths now Innocent

I've got no inclination to go into the fight. I knew what I would be reading before I logged on.

What would be interesting is to actually know what sites have been booked and when.

I won't click "Follow this post" my phone will go into melt down

Every year we see this, I wonder if a more civilised sytem will ever be considered? What other leisure company expects people to do this and pay a membership fee too? Frown

Why dosn't the club take a non-refundable 50% deposit with bookings, that would surely calm things down?

Am resubmitting my comments as Editor has chosen to close other thread - doesn't like negative feedback one presumes?

Absolute waste of time as usual  - to the person who says you just need patience and they have booked two sites in half an hour - haven't got a clue how!! been logged in since 7am starting pressing said button at 8am with  constant pressing
since then - still no joy!! Partner still pressing - have to go to work!! Will be leaving the CC this year, no reason to be in it if can't get sites we want Frown

Ditto, when I eventually do decide to use a Club site, my mantra is if it isn't available look elsewhere.

Got Baltic Wharf after 17 minutes of clicking. Just keep going and it does work. It would be good to get a message saying that though because it makes you wonder if there's a 'glitch' in the system and its not working properly when it justt throws you back
    in to the page.

Write your comments here...if you go to your site bookings you will see your booking there

We booked Baltic Wharf for the 7-14 August for the Balloon Festival and to meet up with family as we've not managed to get to the BF over the years, but by putting a stake in the ground we can make it a family event Happy

The Avon Centre has put on their rally dates for the Balloon Fiesta, a much better place to stay for the event, if anyone misses Baltic Wharf try the rally!

A number of weekends and weeks booked at Chatsworth. All done within an hour. Our favourite site and only 40 minutes away. I agree, however, the booking system is not great. Fortunately I'm not at work today but it wouldn't have been so easy had I had been. Bring in a rolling system.

I dont ever take part in the annual  "Greed Fest.".  Its not in my nature to book loads of sites, denying and disadvantaging others,  just in case I might want to go to those sites if the weather is good.

Managed to make four bookings in about an hour. My first booking was at 8.30 after trying since 8.I couldn't get the one I wanted, it was fully booked.

I cant honestly think what else the CC could do. It is much better than it was a few years ago. It's  just luck if you can managed to get on four times in the first half hour.I'm hapoy if I manage to get our main one booked.
