Hi All,

For our very 1st trip in our MH we are thinking of going to Oxon Hall in Shrewsbury. The reason we are thinking of this site is that it seems to have good facilities and close to Shrewsbury. Its also within 70 miles of home so not to far to travel.
Has anyone been and do you think its suitable for newbies who have no experience whatsoever?

The answer is yes. Its very much run on the lines of a Club site except it has adult only pitching areas. It is a short walk to the park and ride, local shops, takeaways and pubs.

    Enjoy your trip

Yes it's fine.  Right by the park and ride. Don't know when you are going.  But sometimes they do 3 nights for the price of 2.  Even if you are only staying 2  nights it does mean you, don't have to rush off on your departure day.

We liked it but thought it a bit pricey but they often do a three for two offer which reduces the price quite bit. If you would like to see some pictures have a look

    here
Excellent location for motorhomers who don't want to move their vehicle off site.

We were there last week. Excellent site with a well-stocked caravan accessories shop. Park and Ride only 80p return with bus pass!
