Castleton opening date

can anyone tell me why  it says opening august 2017 on the booking news, i am there xmas week so is it closing for a while?

    This is what it says on the online booking info.........

    Pending committee approval, the Castleton site will be closed in January 2017 through to mid August 2017 for proposed refurbishment.

    So, yes, it is closing after xmas.

    I am at Castleton now. What I was told is there is to be a new Toilet block built after the turn of the year. Pitches to be altered to all awning which will mean which will mean the loss of three and new superpitches built at the bottom left near the exit.
