We have enjoyed our first caravan ( sprite major 6td) so much this year we would like to try going away over Christmas and new year. We are a family of four including a 2 and 4 year old. We would like a simple festive season surrounded by similar folk. Lots
of family time but some social activities. Any suggestions for sites? We are in the midlands so happt to go anywhere in uk for up to about 12 nights. Any suggestions welcome!

thanks

Have you ever thought of trying a X-Mas/New Year Rally? Both the CC & C&CC centres run them over the holiday period and there are bound to be plenty of children on them you are more likely to be able to get onto one of them than into a site, especially over
    the NY period.

Moira - the CC sites near you, such as Broadway or Moreton in Marsh would be good options but maybe booked up already. Another alternative is Tudor Caravan site at Slimbridge, just down the road from the WWF centre, next to the canal for walks and with a
good family friendly pub right by the entrance. Happy

    Hi MoiraJ

Another idea would be Longleat which has an amazing Festive of Light, the safari park and estate. Our site right next door to the resort has availability over Christmas & we offer good discounts to get into the resort.

The problem you might find is New Year as most sites are booked up already (Longleat is, as is Broadway and Moreton in Marsh as mentioned above by moulesy)

You might be best looking at availability for the dates you want across the whole network and work backwards as options are quite limited!

Alternatively give us a call and we can have a look for you or webchat is available online 9am - 9pm.

Good luck! Have a wonderful festive season whatever you end up doing.

    Helen
