I like the rolling booking programme used by the other club, I can book next year now if I wanted. The deposit will secure me specifc dates if needed, it can be allocated to another booking if illness etc prevented me using the booking. It is generally much
more civilised and customer based than the CC system. I've used the CC book ahead til March which is useful, why not roll it out a bit further instead of using a scramble system?

I agree, brue. We've used C&CC sites more over the past couple of years. Although not as consistently good (as far as we're concerned) as CC sites, in fact 3 of the nicest sites we've stayed on have been theirs (Priddy, Devizes and Polstead in Suffolk). Happy

Not members of C&CC at present but agree on Devizes and Polstead being lovely sites. Don't know Priddy site.

The CC must be one of the few leisure groups, for want of a better description, that doesn't allow long forward bookings. Even the airlines do 11 months in advance. The cruises are advertising for 2018

We appear to have two threads on the same topic so, as the other one, in the Club Membership Section, was started in September, I'll close this one.
