There appears to be no club site within 2 hrs of you that have availability for 31st Dec. You will have either to look to book a CL or check what's available on Commercial sites.

The C&CC site at Boroughbridge seems to have vacant pitches for the New Year period.

Write your comments here...have you been to this site - has it got any kind of entertainment at new year please?

Have a look at Cawood caravan park  selby/York area. They have a club house so would imagine there would be something on at new year, it's a commercial site.

As you're a member of C&CC there's the Teversal Site, near Chesterfield. I know that they've done something in tthe past. Great shower block BTW. You could give them a ring.

We have been trying to book Caravan Club site for the new year for months now in our area with no luck, the popular ones are rammed full, you do need to book early or just risk a cancellation, we have tried  Knaresborough, Castleton and  Hawes, we keep ringing
them in the hope someone cancels. New year in the van is great! We live in West Yorkshire

We are also looming for somewhere for  both yule and new year that miht have some form of entertainment.  We arenot restricted to area as we dont mind driving prefering to go awayto places that we cant reach for a day out.

We store her in Tayside, live in Hull, and currently onholiday in LOOE, to give you some idea we travel.

Its our first year without the kids, so want to get out and socialise and get to know people

Don't give up on getting a cancellation, it happened to us 2 years ago, we were 8th on the wardens list so didn't think it would happen but it did got a call on 29th December, ' hi do you still want to come at New Year' we were of like a shot once we had
    de-iced the vanLaughing
