Shame about the dogs (or owners)
We've just returned from a great 5 days at Incleboro Fields near Cromer, & all due credit to the friendy team of wardens for their work keeping the site so attractive. Sadly our stay was spoilt to a certain extent by a couple who walked 8 dogs past our caravan 3 to 4 times daily. The dogs did what dogs do, & although the dirt was picked up, the resulting residue left on the grass & service roads wasn't ideal, especially when this is on the grass near our water containers etc. We're not against dogs, in fact our party of 3 pitches had 3 dogs between us, which we walked off site. I checked the club guide book but could'nt find any rules about numbers permited ? Surely common sense should prevail, especialy where children's welfare is concerned !

Eight is a new record. Previously no one had spotted more than seven.

Not acceptable in my view - I walk very briskly to the dog walk or outside the site before I relax and let my dogs do anything. they wait for the click of the lead and seem to understand what is required. Occasionally it doesn't work but they are not allowed
anywhere near grass en route to the dog walk so cleaning up a bit of tarmac is fairly simple. I guess these dogs might be little ones? The other club actually ask how many dogs I have with me (probably in case there is a complaint?) It is so unfair on undoggy
people to allow this sort of thing.0 -
When you discussed the situation with the warden, Ravenscar, what was the response?

We've been to Incleboro many times and it's one of our favourite sites. That area is particularly dog friendly and, as Mollysmummy says, wherever you pitch you're never far from fantastic dog walks off site.
Shame on them really. 8 dogs must be a record.
