Site review titles

Is it just me that feels when writing a site review, the name of the site should be included in the title of the review? When looking through the reviews in general, I feel it would be really useful to be able to scroll through, and read specific reviews
on sites of interest to me. I know I can go to site details specifically and look through all reviews but just for ease, as a new review pops up, the site name would let me know  it was one I was interested in reading or not.

I just look at site page, then look at reviews. This seems simplest way of choosing if it is a place we might like. I think you have to be on a specific site page to actually leave a review as well on here? I am guessing you are reading via the "latest review/posts"
    page?Happy

Non-members cannot even view the CL reviews.

Makes it very difficult to decide whether joining is worthwhile, when  the only real reason would be to access the CL network.Sad

Lots of CLs have reviews on UKcampsites. No membership required. Lots are reviewed on other forums as well.

Am I missing something here. Where do new reviews of sites appear other than on their respective site pages?

so you look at the 'latest activity' section, and it says for example 'great 8 days spent at this wonderful site.' If it was in an area you were considering going to, you might read it but if it was in an area you had no interest in going to, then I would
personally not be interested in reading that review. If the title was 'Godrevy - Cornwall review' (for example) then it would clearly be of interest to people visiting Cornwall.

The CC Home Page / Sections / CT and scroll down a bit

That's on a Pad - there might be a more direct way using Windows.

There's a tab entitled "Latest Reviews"  on the Club Together page immediately above the most recent post, to the right of "Latest Activity", "Latest Discussions", and "Latest Stories", for those that don't know.  I always look at them on the site information
    page, though.

I just log on, go through each section in turn and read the threads that have red numbers, indicating unread posts.

There are quite a few different ways of finding out what is happening forum wide, makes it interesting. Must confess that I don't always put site name in review title, mainly because I sort of took it for granted that people selected the site first, then
read the reviews, but I will bear it in mind in futureHappy

That's just what I do, CY, but I might now look at those other sections in the future.

Presumably because they want to use CL without joining the club?

I didn't realise CT was displayed in different formats on different types of computers. I always access it on my iPad so assumed everyone else saw it the same as me. Interesting. Laughing

Some interesting points which I must admit had never occurred to me before!

Like TtDA, I rarely put the name of a site in the title of my reviews. When looking for sites, particularly CLs I tend to search via the CL search page, county first, then town, then facilities. But I'll have to give it some thought in the (very) near future,
so look out for a review with the words Forton House in the title! Happy

Personally, it won't work, because if all reviews have site name in title, when you use search engine it will throw up dozens, if not hundreds! Anything with "Farm" in it will possibly blow the system. Far easier just to go to site webpage and look at reviews
there. Only my opinion of course!Happy

Of course it would be so much easier if the CC tied in the Site Directory number to the web site description. I appreciate that as it stands new CLs don't have a SD number but surely there could be a way for them to be allocated a number when they opened. The C&CC are able to allocate a number to each new CS as it comes on stream, however I don't know if they link their site number to their web site descriptions.
