Hi.

Edit- Just realised I've put wrong site in the title! The site I'm considering is Moreton-in-the Marsh!

Looking to book this for a couple of nights at half term and have a few questions. Hoping someone could help  please.

Is the wifi coverage good?

In one review I read that the tv was quite poor, has this been resolved?

Is the dog walk fenced?

And are there many places to eat nearby that will accept dogs?

    Cannot help with WiFi but I see no reason why it should not be ok. Certainly mobile phone signals are ok.

    Yes the dog walk is a large field and is fenced. The Redesdale Arms, one of the first pubs you come to when you walk in accepts dogs in the bar..

    TV should be no problem the site has a distribution system and it is available on the EHU bollard. Check out the site details leaflet and plan

    I remember there being a dog walk although we have no dog. Wifi was fine for me.

    Ah, Moreton in Marsh! Yes there's a very large enclosed dog walk. Also a lovely walk along the Monarch's Way up to Batsford Arboretum ( turn left out of site, left again just before high street and a third left at footpath sign doubling back alongside the dog walk/play area).

    Loads of dog friendly eateries in the village itself and surrounding villages. If you don't mind a little drive down towards Stow on the Wold and turn left to Broadwell village you'll find the dog friendly Fox Inn. Everything a good traditional Cotswold village pub should bel

    Don't seem to remember any problems with TV/WiFi. Enjoy! Happy

    We popped in to view the site, I didn't think the dog field by the play area was that big, to me it seemed like a triangle , absolutely perfect for a late night wee for the hounds though, unless I was lookign at the wrong field! It was fenced. Batsford arboretum
    is literally just up the road, 5 mins in car, you have to pay to get in and it's dogs on leads but there are lots of footpaths. There are several places you can take dogs especially if the weather is nice as outdoor seating areas.

    The Black Bear: Dogs allowed in all bars 

    Redesdale Arms:  Dogs allowed in all bars and courtyard

    The Bell Inn: Traditional Cotswold pub with a large courtyard and garden. Dogs welcomed, usually by the landlords Retriever and Labrador.

    White Hart Royal: Dogs are completely welcome in the pub and there are water bowls. This pub also has a hotel which is dog friendly, with garden rooms which are perfect when travelling with a dog. When staying at the hotel, they cook a sausage for
    the dog for breakfast.

    Inn on the Marsh: A lovely friendly rustic pub in the centre of this beautiful market town. Dogs are welcomed to a warm by the open fire in the bar.

    I just remember M-in-M as the site with the smallest pitches I've ever been to ..... car had to live across the front of the pitch

    I think it depends whereabouts on the site you pitch. Some certainly are and part of the site neareat the main road is a narrow corridor

    And thanks for all the very helpful replies. It will only be our second trip with the dog so we don't want too many surprises. Just hope he behaves himself away from familiar surroundings.

    Try to avoid pitching at the main road side of the site can be very noisy nearly all night

    I don't know about the dog walk here, but there is all the rest of the country to walk in as you come out of the site gates.......

    Dog field is vast..TV is rubbish on itv..wifi is variable..croissants are great ..town is pleasant..Road noise can upset some..not me though
