UK touring sites on or near beach

Hi, can anybody out there recommend any uk touring campsites ( must be near or on a sandy Beach ), that i / we can take our children to, south or southeast.thanks peter.

    Dunnet Bay CC Site at Thurso is next to a lovely sandy beach.

    Freshwater East in West Wales is close to a sandy beach

    Godrevy in Cornwall, over the road from a huge sandy beach.

    Loads of sites in the Bournmouth area, great beach AND a Witherspoons nearby, wahay

    If the OP hadn't said South East I would have recommended New England Bay in Dumfries & Galloway. Pitching almost on the beach with RSPB site nearby, who also run beachcombing walks

    Ukcampsites will give you dozens of choices! I charge for research beyond this point!Wink
