Has anybody driving a motorhome collected someone arriving on a flight at Glasgow Airport please?

I have to pick my wife up at the airport but will be in my (modest sized) motorhome.

There is nothing on their website relating to overheight/size vehicles, if you ring their information line you only seem to get pre-recorded info that doesnt cover this topic, and their "parking" phone number goes through to NCP, and the girl I spoke to didnt seem to know the answer (or have been asked the question before), and tried to direct me to the Long Stay car park....

I dont want to park, only to drive up to somewhere near the arrivals area, and she can walk out and get in.  I appreciate this will still cost a few quid, but my question is "Is there a height barrier etc?".....

Any advice/info gratefully received.....

You would be better getting your wife to walk up to the drop off zone and collect her there. No barriers or cost

You could park at Abbotsinch retail park and get the wife to phone you when she is heading to the drop off zone as its only a five minute journey to the airport.

That's what I do when picking up visitors at Alicante airport although that is in a hire car rather than a MH but same routine applies. Find the easiest place to do a drive through and pick up from there.

There is a drive through pick up zone which is also used by buses so height should not be a problem. You do need to make sure she will be there as if not they will move you on.

We do as suggested above.  I wait nearby then when my passenger rings to say they are at the drop-off point it only takes me a few minutes to get there.  There is a shelter there if it is raining.

You can see where it is on the airport map, and there are signs to follow to find it.
