Overnight stops a long run

Any body put a list together of overnight stops on long runs.

As we are way past the piont of trying to make A to B in a day but have a double axle has anyone got a list of just off route laybys.

We have started marking them in a AA map book. We look for signs of HGV's use (normaly litter and odours). There are some good ones out there we found a stunner between Holmes Chapel and Aclid

If anyone else is doing this we need a spot near the M5 between Bridgewater and Taunton.

    There are a lot of CLs close to that stretch of the M5, Mark, and a couple of CC sites. Why chance your security in a smelly lay-by?

    What is wrong with Cadeside? CC no facs site £14 a night.

    I would agree with the above comments. The only laybys you might find would be on the A38, this has become quite a busy area with large Morrisons and Muller depots and house building activity.

    try Mulberry house burnham on sea. £11 electric/toilet/shower. why a layby.2 min off M5 fuel and tesco 5 min

    I would not use laybys no security and it may be illegal. For a few pounds a CL is a far better bet.
