Where are you this Bank Holiday ?

We are off to Sandringham Norfolk this bank holiday weekend but not until Monday for 4 nights?

Chose this site because it looks tranquil, quite close to the coast, woodland walks and only 1 hour from home. Where are you off to and what's the attraction ?

At home, the last place I want to be is touring, on a campsite, or in a town on a Bank Holiday. I'll do some walking where its quiet.

I shall be home too - but packing up ready to go West for some time helping out daughter but also hope to get a break in if the weather continues to be kind.  I haven't camped with daughter for quite a few years now - should be fun!  Last time was 2001 I
think when we hired a Gypsy style caravan in Ireland - smashing fun!

Lets hope the sun keeps shining.

First time in decades, we seem to have found ourselves away at a BH! But on a quiet CL, buried way off the beaten track and we shall choose our visits off site carefully! Happy

We're at home. If you live in Cornwall you soon learn not to venture out on a bank holiday!

Not a fan of being anywhere in England / Wales, other than home, on a  August BH. Even when we had to holiday at that time of year, we were away from BH's in Europe or Scotland.

It could all be solved by restricting bank holidays to bank staff. Wink

I shall not be venturing more than a few miles. I noticed a MH had set itself up with canopy out in the public car park at Portchester Castle this morning.

And another one although shortly I am off for a meal followed by an evening's entertainment at the theatre.

Where am I? At home...but I did have a slight abberation this morning and suggested we go down to the Dorset coast. Instead of a nice short run we joined big queues in hot sunshine. But we drove along the Dorset coast, quiet due to all being on the beach
and we also drove past the THS at Burton Bradstock, it looked lovely, wish I was there! Had a nice lunch at Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens and walked around in the cool shade and tottered over the Burma Rope Bridge....then home, that's it for this years Bank
    Holiday. Happy
